Revving It Up at Great American Weekend
Goshen Independent-Wednesday, June 17, 2009
Goshen Town Hall parking lot will be packed with a free local Antique Car Show. Many local residents will be found proudly displaying their vintage vehicles.
In front of the Town Hall, local owned and sponsored racecars, as well as drivers, including Goshen’s Championship driver Jerry Higbie and last year’s Championship car number 17, as well as local Championship driver “The Jeffer” will be featured.
For the aspiring young driver, some very talented local Race Against Drugs drivers, Lauren and Brandon Mailler, will be attending with their racecars. These drivers will be available to answer questions about what it means to be a Race Against Drugs National Spokesperson, as well as answer questions about their racing career.
Orange County Fair Speedway, Behrent’s Performance Warehouse Automotive, Higbie Fabrication, Race Against Drugs, Goshen Town Board, Goshen Chamber of Commerce, are just a few of the names that are volunteering as well as helping out to make this event possible.
Rev it up this year at Great American Weekend.
