| About Me: |
A central New Jersey native, I moved to Florida in 2007 so that my son and I could be
closer to family and friends. One of four kids, I have one older and one younger
brother, and a little sister. As a family, wed visit New Smyrna Beach each year, and
eventually my parents vacation home became their permanent residence in their
retirement. Living here has brought us closer to my seven nieces and nephews (so far!),
and my very large extended family. We are blessed to have so many loved ones nearby.
When we relocated, I didnt yet have a job. My prior experience had been as an Office
Manager for an IT Recruitment firm, and that didnt lend itself to much in the immediate
area. I had worked for a subsidiary of Educational Testing Services for some time, as
an AA in the Test Development department, and so I focused on that in my search. I had
just received an offer with a local college when a recruiter called about a temporary
position with a local non-profit.
After one day at NCPRS, I was hooked! What could be better than spending each day in the company of wonderful people, each of whom shares a passion for impacting the lives of our nation’s youth? Having served as Receptionist and Program Assistant, I now support management in my role as Administrative Assistant.
