| About Me: |
Making a difference in the lives of children has been a constant driving force in my young adult and adult life. There is no better feeling than knowing you played a part in the permanent positive self image of a child. We all have our best and worst “most memorable” school related moments we can immediately recall as adults. I have had the opportunity to be the one, who as a child, will remember forever as having made a difference.
After teaching for about seven years and consulting with NCPRS during the development stages of the Stay on Track K-2 work book, I made the decision to work full time with NCPRS just so that I could ride along to see the Stay on Track program become all that I prayed it would be. The highlight of my career now is listening in on the monthly conference calls to testimonials of those in the field, and reading about all of the success stories. I literally smile to the point of tears because I have the overwhelming privilege of seeing this dream become a reality. And I am fortunate enough to be a part of this celebration. |
