Stay On Track Activity Series

NCPRS has developed a Stay on Track Activity Series designed for Boys and Girls Clubs and promotes this program at the Annual Law Enforcement and Youth Partnerships for Crime Prevention Conference in Washington D.C.

Training by Experts

The following clubs will receive training by the expert staff at NCPRS in Phoenix, Arizona.

·        Pueblo of Pojoaque Boys & Girls Club, NM
·        Boys & Girls Clubs of Rochester, NY
·        Boys & Girls Club of Tahlequah,  OK
·        The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Tulsa, OK
·        Boys & Girls Club of East Providence, RI
·        Boys & Girls Clubs of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe, SD
·        Boys & Girls Club of the Eastern Panhandle, WV

The two and a half day training will provide the required skills necessary to successfully implement the Stay on Track program.

NCPRS Follow Up

Throughout the implementation period, NCPRS will follow up with Boys and Girls Club staff providing weekly substance abuse tidbits and will be enrolled to receive the monthly NCPRS newsletter discussing news and announcements with all programs managed by NCPRS.

Culmination Celebration

An educational weekend culmination celebration is planned by NCPRS staff to recognize outstanding participants from the program and provide a fun filled weekend for chaperones from each participating club.

In 2007, a total of seven clubs participated in the Activities Series Program and the culmination celebration took place in sunny California at the Sharp Aquos 500 Nextel Cup NASCAR event.

For 2008, we are working with 7 clubs with a tentatively scheduled culmination event in October at the Seattle Seafair in beautiful Washington State.
