Awards/ Records: Eagle Scout, Man of the Month Cape Canaveral, many wins in racing including FC Perfect Season 1967.

Toughest Tracks:  Turn 1 Roebling Road and Road Atlanta

Fastest Speed: 180+MPH

Best Racing Experience: Won a race in the rain against Kay Rathmann, Charles Conrao Jr., LeRoy Gordo Cooper Jr., and Alan B. Shepard Jr (fun!).

Worst Racing Experience: Road Atlanta, November 10, 1979. Turn 6, 18 feet in the air, landed upside-down. I crushed 5 and broke 2 vertebrate and spent three months in the hospital and one year in a brace.

Community Involvement: Founder and president, Zoeller Ministries and “Kids Racing for Life,” Boy Scouts of America, past president-Kiwanis, past president-A.C.S. Speaks.

Ultimate Goals: That I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord has given me.

Important Qualities to Succeed in Life: Integrity, moral values, endurance, ability to listen, to learn, to love, keeping first things first—Christ.

Role models:  Christ, Peter (he got out of the boat), John Jay.
